“In 2018 I found myself needing a change of pace and rediscovery. Some friends of mine were bike couriers. I remember thinking ‘that’s not me’, so I decided to try it. For that I needed a bike. I didn’t have one, nor did I know anything about them. Being an avid vinyl collector, I was used to digging and diving so I approached my bike research identically (and obsessively). By the time I finally pulled the trigger and bought a bike, I had amassed a disproportionate, and potentially unnecessary, understanding of the bike world. I would watch everything from 90s Tour de France videos to bike messenger documentaries. I got romantically involved and I’ve never looked back.”
